Starting small never looked so good

Started in 2015, Canyon Angels was founded by entrepreneur and investor Timothy Kelley and has since grown to a network of over 55 accredited investors. Canyon Angels is unique in that we allow undergraduate students the opportunity to participate in the due diligence process guided by our investor mentors. To date, approximately 19 different ventures have been funded by our members totaling over $2.5 million. The primary focus of Canyon Angels is to fund highly scalable startups that allows accredited investors to diversify their portfolio. We serve as a filtering mechanism to find desirable investment opportunities locally in Arizona and nationally. We syndicate deals from other angel networks and funds bringing our investors the best companies.

We are also excited to announce that we have relocated to the brand new GCU Innovation Center. This Co-working space allows start-ups to take base in a central location with amenities including a hotel, gym, bar and restaurant, student intern workers and direct access to recent graduate talent.

Canyon Angels hosts six investor meeting where CEO’s pitch their companies from September through April with consistent deal flow through the “off-season.” One of the meetings includes the Canyon Angels x GCU Innovation Center Angel Summit in February.
